Scottish Highland Cattle Hides

Our hides are professionally tanned in Ballarat – the tannery is a wholly Australian owned family business, founded in 1865. They are the only tannery in Australia that use a traditional method of genuine crushed wattle bark for their tanning medium, which results in beautiful, soft hides.

Hides are available in limited numbers and various colours. They are unique, individual pieces.

Yellow

  • Dark yellow / light red Highland hide.

  • Dark black Highland hide. The fur is black with red/brown tips. The hair on this hide is extra thick.

Highland Skulls

Our Scottish Highland Skulls are not just decorative pieces; they are a tribute to the animals they came from. Crafted with care and respect, these skulls have been naturally preserved by a local taxidermist, using a process which maintains all the features of the animal they came from.

They make for a striking and conversation-starting element in any room, blending seamlessly with various interior styles, from rustic to contemporary.
