Peglet is a striking red heifer with a touch of  brindling from our Autumn 2025 calf crop. She is sired by the Scottish bull Gille Riabhach of Pollok (b 1995), bringing depth of pedigree and proven genetics. Her dam, Missy 3rd of Crackenback, was among the very first cows to arrive at Cambus Glen.

Peglet showcases the best of this dam line, combining a smooth, well-balanced frame with excellent structure and sound legs and feet. For such a young heifer, she displays impressive volume and rib spring. She has good width through the hips, which are square, with a long and level hip-to-pin, adding to her overall eye appeal while also indicating strong future breeding performance.

Peglet made her show-ring debut at the Bellarine Agricultural Show, where she was an outstanding ambassador for the Highland breed. She placed 3rd in her interbreed class, making her the highest-placed Highland exhibit, and was a calm and reliable partner for her 8-year-old handler in the junior paraders class.
