Morag Ruadh is the first calf of Maeve of Cambus Glen by the renowned Nano Dubh of Bairnsley. She closely resembles her dam, a long-bodied cow with correct legs and excellent udder. We selected Nano as the sire for calving ease, as well as his excellent foot and udder genetics and ability to add thickness and Highland character to his offspring.

Morag is a sweet young heifer who always seeks you out in the paddock, hoping for a scratch or brush. Like her dam, she is long-bodied with sound leg structure. We also really like the look of her pelvic set up – long and square hipped with good fill across the plates. True to our Mayday dam line, she shows a smooth shoulder and clean transition through the front into a feminine, well-set neck.
