Jessica is one of the only heifers of this dam line’s genetics here in Australia and she is sired by the Scottish import Lord Ranald of Craigluscar Farm Fold – how cool! We first saw Jessica and other Lord Ranald calves when visiting Bairnsley Highlands in December 2024 and were taken away by how striking the (very) young calves were.
This girl is structurally very correct with a beautifully laid in shoulder, plenty of depth and spring to her ribs and considerable thickness all along the top.
