Airchie is still only young, but we have been happy with his development and temperament so far. He has great feet plus is developing good thickness in his hind end and along his topline. His dam has one of the best udders we’ve seen (and on her 7th lactation). He is also incredibly quiet and docile. He has some unique genetics behind him, being by the little used Scottish bull, Lord Montagu of Old Greenlaw. He is a bull we have found to impart impressive back ends and muscling in his offspring. The straws are now sold out in Australia.

Airchie has demonstrated outstanding success in the show ring. At just 12 months of age, he was awarded Grand Champion Highland Bull and Junior Champion Highland Bull at the Victorian Highland State Show, held in conjunction with the Bendigo Agricultural Show. Most recently, he continued this strong performance at the Bellarine Agricultural Show, where he was named Reserve Champion Bull in the interbreed competition.

While only young, he has all the right ingredients so far. We will be watching his progress carefully as he continues to mature.
