All stud cattle sold are registered with the Australian Highland Cattle Society. We only sell cattle with sound temperaments and who are quiet and safe to handle, and most will readily stand for a brush in the paddock. Our heifers and steers are only sold after weaning at approximately 7 months followed by 3-4 weeks of handling, and after they are halter trained and can be approached and brushed in the paddock.

For those looking for a pet or paddock ornament, rather than a stud animal, steers are a great option – they still have the Highland look, are easier to manage and are less expensive. We take the same amount of time working with the steers as with the heifers, so we know they have temperaments suitable for pets.
