Jane is a larger framed female – she is a big girl, muscular and tall for a Highland. She was never halter broken, but will always approach in the paddock for a brush or a scratch. Jane is a natural leader without being overly pushy with other animals – she is always first to come when called and leads the group when moving. She was a live model at the 2023 Victorian Highland Breeders Group Field Day, with her week old calf, and perfectly demonstrated the temperament we would like to see in all our breeding females.
So far she has proven to be fertile, breeding back quickly after her first calf, and has produced three quality heifer calves. Currently in calf to Philip of Strathallan.
